| Ralph Toledo was born 1914 in Minas Prietas Sonora Mexico. The family emigrated to the United States when he was a babe in arms settling in Tucson Arizona. Ralph attended Safford and Tucson High School. He was a musician and performed with many local groups. He met and married Dorothy Gardner Young in 1940 and raised his family in South Tucson. He was always involved in community affairs. He was elected and served as South Tucson councilman for three terms. Music, sports and travel were among his favorite things in life. Ralph was also the "family social director" always arranging get-togethers. He deceased March 1982, a few days before his 42nd wedding anniversary. Ralph and Dorothy had three children - Larry, Tommy and Peggy. |
